The Bloodmobile will be in Nicollet on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 1:30 to 7:30 pm at the Nicollet Friendship Hall.  Call Darlene if you have questions or wish to make an appointment.

Volunteers Are Needed To Help in Johnson Hall during the Nicollet County Fair.  The fair starts August 11th.  Please consider chaperoning the Open Class at Johnson Hall for a few hours or helping on entry day.  Any donations would be appreciated for prizes in the Open Class.  Contact Joni A. at 246-5342.

The Second Annual Harvest Fest sponsored by the Norseland Community Preservation Assn. will be held on Sunday, August 22nd at 12:30 pm in the park at Scandian Grove Lutheran Church.  Cost for the dinner will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under.  The menu includes pork chops grilled by the Pork Producers, sweet corn, beans, chips, and beverages.  We are hoping to serve dessert this year and are asking for donations of homemade pies.  Call Maria L. at 246-5828 to have your name added to the list for donating pies.  Musical entertainment will be provided and bring along your softball gloves, bats, balls, and pompoms for a softball reunion game after the meal.
